FILM TYPES

DYED

  • Privacy: The dark appearance helps obscure the view into the vehicle.

  • Basic UV protection: It blocks a portion of harmful UV rays, protecting the car's interior and passengers.

  • Heat reduction: Dyed tints can absorb some solar heat, helping to reduce the interior temperature.

  • Affordability: It's generally the least expensive type of window tint.

  • Heat rejection: Compared to other types of tint like ceramic or carbon, dyed tints offer less heat rejection.

  • Signal interference: Some dyed tints can interfere with radio, cell phone, and GPS signals.

  • Not as effective in extreme climates: While they offer some heat reduction, they may not be sufficient in very hot climates.

  • Durability: Dyed tints can fade over time, especially with prolonged sun exposure.

CARBON

  • UV Protection: It effectively blocks up to 99% of harmful UV rays, protecting both the occupants and the car's interior from sun damage.

  • Glare Reduction: Carbon tint reduces glare from sunlight, improving visibility and driving comfort.

  • Non-Interference: Unlike some metalized tints, carbon tint does not interfere with cell phone, GPS, or radio signals.

  • Matte Finish: Carbon tint provides a sleek, non-reflective, matte black appearance.

  • Durability: Carbon particles make the tint more durable and resistant to fading compared to dyed films.

  • Heat Rejection: Carbon tint helps to keep the car's interior cooler by blocking infrared light and reducing solar heat gain.

CERAMIC

  • Durability and Longevity:

Ceramic tint is known for its durability, resisting fading, bubbling, and peeling over time.

  • Optical Clarity:

It offers excellent clarity, ensuring a clear view both day and night, without compromising visibility.

  • Superior Heat Rejection:

Ceramic tint excels at blocking infrared (IR) radiation, the primary source of solar heat, making the vehicle's interior cooler.

  • UV Protection:

It blocks a high percentage of both UVA and UVB rays, protecting the car's interior from fading and occupants from harmful UV exposure.

  • No Signal Interference:

Unlike metallized films, ceramic tint does not interfere with electronic devices like GPS, cell phones, or radio signals.
